If you’re thirsty it’s too late. Just drink. ~ greg_barton

These silly PSA’s have been going around here for years.
Thirst means… duh dow bowm… You’re thirsty. It doesn’t mean you’re dehydrated and on the brink of death along with all the other BS written up as fact. I grew up in the arid Aussie outback where water was a scarcity at the time, knowing true quenching of thirst is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
Seriously people should probably try and feel what it’s like to be truly thirsty now and then instead of being on a constant tap of H20 input, it’s just like most people don’t know what it’s like to be truly hungry until they try keto/IF/etc and stop the all-day grazing and snacking and 6 meals a day malarkey.
Yes – during “induction” you will be even thirstier and fluids coming and going at ridiculous rates – this is well covered in the FAQ, but otherwise unless you have a chronic/pathological condition – actual thirst is the perfect indication to drink, not because someone on the internet or in a magazine said to do so.
Dammit – I still don’t have a gin.[/quote]
